Application
• All turbo-charged medium speed high performance trunk piston diesel engines in use as propulsion engines for inland waterway barges, fishing vessels, off-shore vessels, as auxiliary engines on deep sea going vessels or as prime movers in power stations.
• Can also be used to lubricate:
• air compressors
• reverse/reduction gear boxes
• sterntubes
Recommendations
• Q8 Mozart DP may be used in highly rated medium speed trunk piston diesel engines operating on distillate or blended marine diesel
fuels under severe operating conditions,
• when one or more of the following specifications are used to describe the required lubricant quality:
